The 3rd Fall Season Championship of the Saint John Touch Rugby League featured a best-of-three series, with the Highlighters entering the finals with a one-game advantage after finishing atop the regular-season standings.

With Bath Bomb Squad short on numbers, they called up two substitutes to field a full team for the championship series. Despite the lineup challenges, Bath Bomb Squad battled hard and kept the game close for most of the contest.

Scott Walton opened the scoring early for the Highlighters before adding a second try just before halftime to give his team a 2–0 lead.

The second half remained competitive, with Bath Bomb Squad working hard to stay in the game. However, the Highlighters pulled away in the final five minutes, turning a close contest into a 7–0 victory. Walton led the way with an outstanding four-try performance, while Jayden Keegan, Adam Lund, and Eric Lund also crossed the line.

With the win, the Highlighters swept the best-of-three championship series 2–0, capturing the 2026 Fall Season Championship and capping off a remarkable season!

Congratulations to the 2026 Fall Season Champions — HIGHLIGHTERS! 🏆
